


With new and emerging advances in pre-hospital care, the need for education for EMTs, Paramedics, physicians, nurses and clinicians, is paramount. The goal of this program is to provide an update on these emerging technologies, therapies, treatments and protocols to improve care. Attendees will learn comprehensive components of pre-hospital care, including topics such as trauma, mass casualty preparedness, cardiac pharmacology, overcrowding in the ER, new street drugs, the evolving role of EMR and more.
This program will utilize didactic, lecture formats as well as group interactive discussions to highlight topics, allowing audience participation and serve as a venue for case-based learning (case presentations).

Attendees will answer questions during designated periods and complete an evaluation at the conclusion of the symposium.
