LOUIS M. PROFETA, MD, FACEP

Dr. Profeta received a BS in Biology and a MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh, Center of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Profeta is a Fellow and Diplomat of the American College of Emergency Physicians as well as staff physician at four area hospitals in Indianapolis. He is past president and co-founder of ERASE: Emergency Room Advice Safety and Education, a non-profit agency focusing on public safety. Dr. Profeta is also the author of the critically- acclaimed book, The Patient In Room Nine Says He’s God.

ANDREW M. FOUTS, MD, FACC

Dr. Fouts received a BA in Zoology from Miami University and a MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Indiana University Medical Center, and his cardiovascular disease fellowship and interven- tional cardiology fellowship at St.Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His special interests include improving acute MI care throughout St.Vincent Health.
